Speaking

Keynote Speaker

As a dynamic and skilled speaker, Molly Moynahan has spoken everywhere from Abu Dhabi to Kenya to Princeton as well as on her book tour circuit for her award winning novels. She speaks on writing (academic and creative), grief, trauma, and recovery.

As a motivated storyteller, enthusiastic educator, published novelist, and teenage whisperer, Moynahan’s decades of working with students experiencing writing anxiety, depression, academic struggles, and executive functioning issues make her a perfect fit for speaking to employees, parents, students, and educators.

A keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and life coach for teenagers, Moynahan brings her unique humor, deep understanding of adolescents, and ease in public speaking to any stage including virtual platforms. Her experience and clarity provide a unique, entertaining, and valuable event.

Her experience as an in-demand college essay coach, life coach, and classroom teacher has given her a unique ability to challenge and support teenagers as they confront the future. As an English teacher both for Chicago Public Schools, Evanston Township and New Trier high schools, Moynahan’s rapport and empathy for teenagers is authentic and inspired. In a therapeutic setting with students diagnosed with suicidal ideation and major depression, Moynahan's strong rapport with the clients was integral to the success of the program.
