Writing a memoir is bearing witness. Combining experience with creativity and craft will bring your story to life. Whether you have lived a wildly adventurous life or found truth in the day-to-day, this class encourages risk-taking while creating a supportive and inspiring environment. Through prompts, class discussions, mentor texts, and workshopping, students will find their voices and their stories.

Finding Your Voice:
How to write novels, Short stories, Creative nonfiction

Wednesdays, 5:30–7pm EDT

Class meets via Zoom
Meets weekly for five consecutive weeks on Zoom. No matter where you are in your writing process – ready to publish or simply starting – this writing class will support, challenge, and extend your current project. Learn to focus, refine and produce rough drafts of your story. Includes extensive writing exercises and sharing.
